WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

OVERVIEW

Additive manufacturing is a highly technical, rapidly changing environment where quality and consistency are more important than ever, but where innovation cannot be ignored. At FilaMatrix, we understand that. We know that the safety, purity, and the sourcing of ingredients are all more important than ever, and we are guided by a simple, yet profound, philosophy – “leave things better than you find them.” We truly want every experience with our product to be great, and we are always looking for ways to improve. To that, we want all of our customers to know that we are absolutely committed to communication. We cannot improve what we are unaware of. We want your experience with us to be one that builds trust and reliance. We know we have to earn that. Please tell us how. But, please understand that we cannot know everything about you or your intended use of our products.

FILAMATRIX

FILAMATRIX LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

The FilaMatrix LLC warranty obligations for this 3D printing filament product (the “Product”) are limited to the terms set forth below:
FilaMatrix warrants its products to conform to FilaMatrix’s formal published specifications for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. FilaMatrix’s sole obligation with respect to warranty claims made within the warranty period described above shall be, at its option, to replace any covered Product that FilaMatrix, in its sole discretion, determines to be nonconforming, subject to the procedure set forth below.
The Product has been tested in various 3D printers, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with all 3D printer models. FilaMatrix is not liable for any claims related to damage to 3D printers or other property, or issues arising from the printed objects, including but not limited to property damage or injury, or failure to print the desired object, provided, however, that in the unlikely event a defect in our filament causes damage to a 3D printer, FilaMatrix will reimburse necessary costs to repair your printer. For reimbursement, provide FilaMatrix with the defective filament, a dated original proof of purchase and a dated and signed written statement on the repair service company’s letterhead, detailing the cause of damage and cost of repair. Satisfactory evidence must be provided that the equipment damage was due to a defect in the FilaMatrix filament.

3D printing has inherent limitations that may render the printed object unsuitable for its intended purpose. You are solely responsible for determining the suitability, safety and performance of any printed object made with our Product. Our Product should not be used for any regulated or high risk end uses and should not be used to create any type of weapon. You are also solely responsible for ensuring that your printed object does not violate any laws or infringe any third party intellectual property rights, including but not limited to trade dress, trademark, logo, design patent, utility patent or copyright (images, text, or other). Materials and manufacturing methods can play key roles in performance — a 3D printed object that appears identical to a commercially available object may perform differently for a variety of reasons, and we have no liability for such issues.

FilaMatrix’s warranty obligations hereunder are further expressly conditioned upon the Products being properly installed, used and maintained at all times by Customer. FilaMatrix shall not be responsible for unauthorized sale or misrepresentation by unauthorized third party resellers. FilaMatrix warranties are not transferable with ownership. Products purchased by auction, yard sale, flea market or purchased as demo units may not be covered under FilaMatrix’s warranty.

THE WARRANTIES OF FILAMATRIX AND REMEDIES OF CUSTOMER SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION ARE EXCLUSIVE AND ARE GIVEN BY FILAMATRIX AND ACCEPTED BY CUSTOMER IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL SUCH OTHER WARRANTIES BEING HEREBY EXPRESSLY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY DIS-CLAIMED BY FILAMATRIX AND WAIVED BY CUSTOMER TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW (AND TO THE EXTENT NOT WAIVABLE BY LAW, ARE LIMITED TO THE TERM OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN).

FILAMATRIX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION OR OTHERWISE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. FOR EXAMPLE, SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THESE RESTRICTIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
