Tough PLA has significantly higher impact strength and is considerably less brittle than standard PLA. This material opens new possibilities for applications requiring functionality, yet retaining the printability of PLA. Tough PLA is an excellent next step from standard PLA for makers looking for parts with improved strength without having to learn how to use new material. This also allows for stronger parts on printers that may be limited by nozzle temperature or heated build plates.
